Tysers takes off with senior
appointments to its Aviation

Tysers, a leading independent international
Lloyd’s broker, today (2 June 2009) announces the appointment of
David Reed, as Managing Director, and Mark Walters, as Director, of
the Aviation Division. David and Mark were previously both senior
executives at Marsh and their arrival marks a significant step in
Tysers’ strategy to develop centres of excellence in its chosen
classes of business and to have a significant presence in the
aviation market.
David has over 35 years of experience in the market.
Before joining Tysers, he was a Managing Director of Marsh
Aviation, where he was responsible for major aerospace and airline
accounts in the UK and Europe, along with all aerospace and airline
business in China.
Mark was formerly a Senior Vice President at
Marsh, responsible for handling international aerospace and airline
business. Mark has over 19 years experience in the market.
David and Mark both specialise in the handling
of all aspects of aviation insurance, particularly airlines and
aerospace, and they have extensive global experience with a focus
on European, Asian, Chinese and US business.
