About Tysers Insurance Brokers

a rich history
and incredible legacy

Established more than 200 years ago, we provide specialist solutions and expert advice on insurance and risk management

OUR rich history

Tysers began in the City of London during 1820, originating in the marine trade of the developing world, assisting governments with state-owned insurance programmes.

Originally a family firm, Tysers later became a private partnership before finally incorporating in 2001.

Our company may have evolved but our family ethos and client focus have remained the same, with a combination of entrepreneurialism and principled business practice that
sets us apart.

As a leading Lloyd’s broker we have access to Lloyd’s of London and also many of the specialist company insurance markets trading out of London.
