With a wealth of marine industry knowledge, Chris is skilled in managing market and client relationships and growing international books of business. He works with senior management to bring together Tysers’ marine and non-marine offerings and build out global, complex risks, with a focus on providing the best possible client service.

Chris has over 40 years of experience in the global Marine industry. He began his career in 1980 as a hull/energy claims broker before moving to cargo placing.

Chris has held a number of senior leadership roles, including Marine Director at Robert Fleming, and Marine Chairman and MD at RFIB (acquired by Tysers).

In 2020 Chris joined Tysers as Chairman of Marine and Aviation to focus on further improving client relationships and developing new markets.
