‘Eric’ flies the flag for Tysers at the FIVA World Rally in Portugal

In late May ‘Eric’, a very handsome 1962 plate E Type Jaguar owned by Tysers very own classic car enthusiast Martin Tinsley, headed to Portugal to participate in the FIVA World Rally 2023.

Proudly bearing the Tysers logo, Eric (along with Martin and his wife Lisa) joined 165 other classic cars from across the globe to participate in FIVA’s (the international federation for ancient vehicles) annual classic car event.

The rally motored through some stunning landscapes around the city of Lisbon, including the Arrabida National Park and the pine-covered hills of Serra de Sintra before crossing the finish line in great style at the Palácio Marquês de Pombal in Oeiras on Sunday 28^th May.

Martin manages Tysers classic car and international motoring rallies insurance offerings and is passionate about promoting our brand on his travels in Eric, his beautiful E Type Jaguar.
