Prantika Sengupta appointed Director of Marine Claims & Client Relations, Tysers Singapore

Tysers Singapore, a leading specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, is delighted to announce the appointment of Prantika Sengupta as Director of Marine Claims & Client Relations. This senior leadership role highlights Tysers’ commitment to delivering exceptional marine claims expertise and client service across APAC.

 

Prantika brings 15 years of experience in maritime law, insurance and reinsurance, claims management and dispute resolution. A strategic leader, she is highly skilled in handling complex maritime insurance liabilities, cargo claims and contractual disputes across multiple jurisdictions. Prantika joins Tysers from Sealead Shipping, where she served as Global Director – Legal. Prior to that, she was Deputy General Counsel & Head of Claims and Insurance for APAC at CMA CGM.

At Tysers Singapore, Prantika will enhance the firm’s highly regarded claims offering, working under the guidance and leadership of Chris Sydenham, Chairman of Claims, to support clients across the marine portfolio. Prantika will also work closely with Marlena Truszczynska, Head of Shipping Claims in London, who joined Tysers in February from Norwegian Hull Club where she held the role of Vice President, Claims.

In collaboration with Chris and Marlena, and supported by their talented team, Prantika will play a key role in enhancing Tysers’ client proposition, delivering exceptional service to clients, and supporting the firm’s regional growth ambitions.

The recent appointments of Prantika and Marlena reflect Tysers’ continued investment in market-leading talent and the firm’s commitment to providing clients with superior technical expertise, claims advocacy and relationship management across the global marine insurance market.
