This morning Tim Thornhill, our Director of Entertainment and Sport, spoke to Martha Carney on Radio 4’s Today Programme. Despite the sad news yesterday regarding the cancellation of this year’s Glastonbury festival, we are continuing to work closely with the government to help ensure we can make festivals happen again this year.

Tysers is spearheading the call for government aid, alongside other insurance industry supporters. Tim explains:
“As coverage is not currently available from the commercial insurance market, we need the Treasury to work with all elements of the insurance sector as a matter of urgency to plan how to bridge the insurance gap for Covid cancellation and support the UK’s live entertainment industries.”
